The DSKDBI Colloquium is a forum for key vendors, experienced industry players and senior academics in the areas of data quality, data analysis, data engineering and data mining to share core business problems, latest solutions and technologies, and experiences and lessons.

DSKDBI 2010 is organised by the Data Sciences & Knowledge Discovery Research Laboratory, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, and will be held in conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM'10) in Sydney, Australia from 14–17 December, 2010 (ICDM2010 will be held from 14–17 December, 2010).

Call for participants for the Colloquium on Data Sciences, Knowledge Discovery and Business Intelligence from 14 - 17 December at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.


The Colloquium features four components in a short course to be held over three days:

• Business solutions provided by world-class vendors,
• Knowledge advancement in research presented by world-class researchers, and
• Enterprise applications introduced by world-class practitioners.

• Topics: from data to smart decisions by applying data science, and knowledge discovery to business intelligence
• Content: combined one-stop solutions including fundamentals, advances in research, business solutions, successful application of case studies and research forum
• Forum industry/government organisations, professionals and academics in the fields of data quality, data analysis, data engineering and data mining to share core business problems, latest solutions and technologies, and experiences and lessons
