Airport
To get from Sydney Airport (also known as Kingsford Smith Airport) to the conference venue, you can:
- take the train from the AirportLink station to Central Station, and then walk from the station to Haymarket ChinaTown through the tunnel (railway staff can provide directions)
- take a taxi to the conference venue; this will take about 20 minutes and cost approximately $Au30.00.
Sydney Attractions
Popular Sydney attractions include:
- Sydney Opera House at Circular Quay. Also offers great views of the Harbour Bridge
- The Rocks – walk around Sydney's historical centre – an easy walk from Circular Quay. You can also walk to the Harbour Bridge from here
- Sydney Harbour Bridge
- Darling Harbour, accessible from Sydney CBD
- Royal Botanic Gardens in Macquarie Street
- Bondi Beach – plenty of buses from the city
- Manly Beach – accessible by ferry from Circular Quay
- Blue Moutains – day trip from Sydney by train (or hire a car)
- Chinatown – in Sydney's Haymarket area
- Queen Victoria Building – Sydney CBD on George Street
- Kings Cross – not far from Sydney CBD – take a train or bus
