1. General information about visa applications

It is recommended that all overseas ICDM2010 participants carefully read the following document from the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship: Visa options for business events such as conferences, meetings or seminars

Some overseas ICDM2010 participants need to apply for a business visa in order to visit Australia. The passport which you hold determines whether you can apply online, or if you need to lodge a paper-based application. Participants may need to apply for a visa online, via ETA, or a paper-based application.

For participants from Electronic Authority Travel (ETA) eligible countries, information can be found at http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/eta.htm

All other passport holders need to submit a paper-based application for a Business (Short Stay) visa (subclass 456).

A visa application charge of $AUD105 will need to be paid when applying for this visa.
