Call for global and local volunteers

ICDM2010 is calling for global volunteers to support the conference in the following ways:

• Coordinating a technical session of the main conference
• Coordinating the tutorials
• Coordinating the workshops
• Coordinating the conference on-site registration and check-in
• Coordinating the conference lunch at the restaurant
• Coordinating the conference reception and banquet
• Coordinating the conference tours

Volunteers from Sydney and other Australian cities are particularly encouraged to provide the following support:

• Provide local tour information and act as guides for overseas participants
• Coordinate the conference
• Volunteers with specialist data mining and work experience in business or government may be able to assist local industry/government participants with their particular enquiries and issues.

Benefits for volunteers

Participants selected to volunteer will be entitled to the following

• Free conference registration, or
• Honorarium, or
• Free attendance of sessions, tutorials and workshops, or
• Free banquet
